In a report by ESPN’s Kalyn Kaler, who serves as the pool reporter for the Seahawks’ practice as part of the Pro Football Writers of America, it was noted that Emmanwori suffered the injury late in the session while attempting to defend against a pass. Thankfully, he was able to walk off the field independently, though several teammates and coaches went over to check on him before he exited the practice area.
This isn't the first time Emmanwori has dealt with ankle troubles; he missed nearly a month at the beginning of the season after injuring the same ankle during Week 1.
After practice, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald spoke about Emmanwori’s current condition, stating, "He had an ankle today, we brought him in to look at it, and we’ll kind of go from here and figure out what are the next steps."
